Chapter Research Awards and Induction Ceremony
The ceremony was held at the Great Hall in Higgins House at WPI on Friday, April 21, 2006. The following graduate students from Materials Science and Engineering were inducted as associate members: Xiaoshu Dai, Brian Dewhirst, Goki Eda and Shimin Li.
Diran Apelian, Howmet Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Director, Metal Processing Institute, gave the Keynote address on "The Crucial Role of MSE (Materials Science and Engineering) for a Sustainable World".
