XETEX 425A DOSIMETERS

Blue Line

Instructions

This dosimeter is an accumulating dosimeter. It will indicate the dose (mR) accumulated since the last reset of the unit. The accumulated dose will be displayed (mR) when the read button is pushed. The unit must be "ON". The unit will alarm when the accumulated dose (mR) exceeds a pre-determined level, or the dose rate (mR/h) exceeds a separate set point.

These dosimeters have a provision (not installed on the units at WPI) for a separate memory that will keep the accumulated dose during the time the device is "OFF". Additional dose will not be recorded during the "OFF" period.

There are six control or adjustment settings available:

Note: DON'T poke anything into the hole next to the display window...the alarm is located here.

These settings should not be changed in normal operation. (They are used during calibration of the instrument).
