Adaptive Environments: "A non-profit organization, AE was founded in 1978 to address the environmental issues that confront people with disabilities and elderly people. Adaptive Environments promotes accessibility as well as universal design through education programs, technical assistance, training, consulting, publications and design advocacy. Its mission is to promote, facilitate, and advocate for international adoption of policies and designs that enable every individual, regardless of disability or age, to participate fully in all aspects of society."

DAIS - Disability Access, Information & Support: "Disability Access Information and Support (DAIS) is an important resource to the higher education community, providing a menu of services for those concerned with disability and access in higher education. Institutions and organizations can contract for help from DAIS, in the person of Jane Jarrow, Ph.D., for a variety of services. The growing list of DAIS publications includes resource materials to assist in interpreting legal mandates, reviewing policies and procedures, and understanding the philosophical underpinnings of providing quality service to people with disabilities in the postsecondary environment."
Don Johnston - The Leader in Learning Intervention Resources: "Don Johnston Incorporated is the leader in learning intervention resources. We provide the high-quality intervention products that struggling students and students with disabilities need to achieve literacy. HEATH Resource Center - American Council on Education: "The HEATH Resource Center of the American Council on Education is the national clearinghouse on postsecondary education for individuals with disabilities. Support from the U.S. Department of Education enables HEATH to serve as an information exchange about educational support services, policies, procedures, adaptations, and opportunities at American campuses, vocational-technical schools, and other postsecondary training entities."

Make it happen! - Education Development Center: "Make It Happen! is an approach that improves middle school education for students with diverse learning abilities. In the Make It Happen! approach, interdisciplinary teams of teachers design and implement inquiry-based I-Search Units and integrate technology into these units in meaningful ways to benefit students. Make It Happen! is the result of 10 years of research, evaluation, and technical assistance at Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC) in Newton, Massachusetts."

New England ADA Technical Assistance Center: "The New England ADA Technical Assistance Center is one of ten regional disability and business technical assistance centers funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR). The Center is a project of Adaptive Environments, Inc., a nonprofit organization. The Center's goal is to facilitate voluntary and effective compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990."
The Tyler Institute: "The Tyler Institute contains a variety of AAC programs including an AAC Clinic, preview and demonstration center, preschool program, work program, and a wide range of graduate and professional development courses. The link below will provide you with additional information.; "The Tyler Institute at Nova Southeastern University is dedicated to improving the quality and availability of augmentative communication services to individuals with significant communication disorders. Augmentative communication has been shown to improve overall speech and language skills. Symbols, strategies, and tools are used to facilitate communication development in individuals who have little or no functional speech."
