According to the agreement between Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, on Exchange Program for Undergraduate Students, WPI students will have chances to do Major Qualifying Projects (MQP) in China. HUST will host WPI students and help in identifying MQP projects, currently in Mechanical Engineering, with industrial application background. The students will have the opportunity to work with Chinese students in mixed teams, conduct meaningful projects, and learn Chinese culture. Wuhan is an industrialized city in central China. HUST will also provide partial financial-aid towards accommodations in China. The MQP in China will be conducted in E term every year.
