Jeff Wessels, the Manager of Manufacturing
Technical Resources in Northeast of GEAE, Kit Hendricks
and Joe Natali from GEAE Lynn, MA Operations visited the
CAM-Lab. at WPI on Feb. 22, 2002. The visitors reviewed
the research and project activities at CAM-Lab. Several
areas of interests were identified. More details on collaboration
will be planned soon. GEAE is one of the biggest aerospace
engine manufacturer with about 50% manufacturing facilities
located in New England. Dr. Rong visited GEAE headquarter
on June 26, 2001 and presented the research work at WPI.
The trip has been planned quite early and was targeted on
Sep. 14. For the well known reason, the trip has been delayed
for a long time. The visit team represented the entire GEAE.
GEAE has a long time relationship with WPI. Currently there
are several MQP projects sponsored by GEAE. |
